The Daiquiri Hut was founded in 2006 by Henry De La Garza, Jr. under the original name Fajita Ritas. Henry's extensive restaurant experience and passion for fun resulted in creating a local place where people could enjoy their dining experience… like they were in the Caribbean.

Henry’s vision to provide a local hang out with the “beach feel” was just the beginning. As word about the great food and tasty drinks began to get out, people came to see what all the excitement was about. It soon became clear that people loved our drinks so much that we needed to change our name, so in 2009 the Daiquiri Hut was born.

Soon an outdoor patio came to life providing a venue for live music, bringing the fun outside. As the drive thru daiquiri concept began to soar, so did ideas to spread the fun across Houston. Keep your eye out because soon the Daiquiri Hut could be in your neighborhood!
